I found the materials provided very comprehensive and it helped in completing assessments to have taken notes throughout. The formative & summative assessments were extremely thorough, in fact, much more so than I had expected – they not only checked my understanding of the course materials but encouraged extra research and considerable thought, both being valuable. The marking was prompt and although I could have appreciated more in-depth responses, I can understand that time to offer this may not be possible. I wonder though if to offer a Pass, Credit or Distinction type rating on a unit would offer a student extra awareness as to their grasp of the content.
