In these terms and conditions:

  1. AOC means Australian Online Courses Pty Ltd.
  2. Course means the program in which the student is enrolled.
  3. Course Commencement Date means the date LMS access is issued to the student.
  4. LMS means the Learning Management System used to deliver course content.
  5. Student means the enrolled participant.
  6. Enrolment Period means 12 months from the Course Commencement Date unless otherwise specified.

2. Acceptance of Terms

  1. By enrolling in a course and paying the applicable fees, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  2. Nothing in this agreement excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

3. Enrolment and Fees

  1. Course fees are payable in full at the time of enrolment unless otherwise agreed in writing. Fees are subject to change at any time prior to enrolment.

  2. Enrolment is confirmed once LMS login credentials are issued. Each enrolment grants access to one (1) student only and may not be transferred to another person.

  3. Professional development programs are generally intended for individuals aged 18 years and over. Enrolments from younger students may be considered with written parent or guardian consent. Parent/Guardian Consent Form.

  4. Special offer codes or discount coupons must be applied at checkout and cannot be applied retrospectively.

  5. AOC may offer third-party payment options, including Afterpay, at its discretion. Where a student chooses to use a third-party payment provider, the student is also subject to that provider’s terms and conditions.

4. Payment Plans

Payment plans may be offered at the discretion of AOC to assist students in spreading the cost of their course fees. Payment plans are available to Australian residents only. For full details, including payment options and applicable fees, refer to the Payment Plans page.

AOC may offer different payment plan options, including:

  1. Pay in 4 instalments, where the total course fee is divided into four equal payments. The first instalment is paid at enrolment, with the remaining instalments paid fortnightly; or

  2. Weekly payment plans, where a deposit is paid upfront and the remaining balance is paid through ongoing weekly or fortnightly payments.

By entering into a payment plan, the student agrees to the following conditions:

  1. A deposit or first instalment must be paid before course access is granted. The first payment amount will vary depending on the course fee.

  2. Students must complete a digital direct debit request authorising AOC to process scheduled payments.

  3. Payments will be processed automatically in accordance with the agreed payment schedule until the full course fee has been paid.
  4. Payment plan fees apply, including direct debit setup, processing, reminder and dishonour fees. Applicable fees may vary depending on the payment method used and are outlined on the Payment Plans page.
  5. Payment plans are not available for printed materials.
  6. Course access will only be provided once the first payment has been received and the direct debit agreement has been completed.
  7. If a scheduled payment cannot be processed, the student may be contacted to arrange an alternative payment date. AOC reserves the right to suspend course access if payments are missed or repeatedly declined.
  8. If payments are overdue or the direct debit arrangement is cancelled, AOC may suspend access to the course until payments are brought up to date.
  9. Students may continue studying while making payments; however, certificates and statements of results will only be issued once the course fees have been paid in full.
  10. Cancelling a payment plan or withdrawing from a course does not remove the student’s obligation to pay the outstanding course balance unless otherwise agreed in writing by AOC.
  11. If a payment is disputed or reversed through a financial institution, AOC reserves the right to suspend course access and recover the outstanding balance.
  12. Students are responsible for ensuring their payment details remain valid and must notify AOC if their payment method changes.
  13. Payment plans are not automatically granted and may be approved or declined at the discretion of AOC.
  14. AOC reserves the right to review or discontinue a payment plan arrangement if repeated payment failures occur.
