Participants will discover positive and impactful communication strategies, including respecting privacy, informed consent, and managing personal and cultural differences. Explore the Recovery Model, establish personal and professional boundaries, and develop skills in attentive behaviour and skilled listening. By integrating self-reflection and goal-setting practices, this course aims to enhance the peer worker’s ability to build rapport, reduce stigma, and provide genuine hope and practical support to others navigating mental health challenges.
