The Certificate of Youth and Family Intervention is an online professional development program that will prepare you for a career or promotion in child protection and family intervention work.

In this child protection (youth and family intervention course),  you will learn how to work effectively with clients at risk to improve their living circumstances and provide emotional support. You will also develop and implement multi-agency investigations, child risk assessment and case management.

You will discover how to effectively support and assist families to ensure that children and young people are safe, and to identify when clients’ language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) are impeding their access to the service being provided, to adjust service delivery or refer appropriately.
